Founded in 1950 by the visionary Vidina Faulkner, Bogue Primary and Infant School has been a cornerstone of education in the Bogue district of Braes River, St. Elizabeth for over seven decades. Our school has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving holistic institution that nurtures not just academic excellence, but the complete development of every child who walks through our doors.
At Bogue Primary and Infant School, we believe in developing well-rounded students through our comprehensive approach to education. Our vibrant extracurricular program includes 4H Club, Cub Scouts, and Math Club, while our students proudly participate in prestigious competitions such as JCDC, DA Sports, and Football competitions. We take immense pride in our School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) framework, which reinforces our core values through our beloved tagline: 'At Bogue Primary and Infant school RICH a di ting, mi RICH, Yuh RICH, Every baddi RICH' – representing Respect, Integrity, Citizenship, and Honesty.
Our dedicated team of well-trained educators is committed to the welfare and success of every student. Under the leadership of Principal Alicia Ashley-Barrett and Board Chair Junior Coley, we are currently on an ambitious mission to elevate our literacy and numeracy standards. We are supported by an active past student association that continues to invest in our school's future.
Every student at Bogue Primary and Infant School embraces our transformational mantra: 'I am productive and transformational, I have a brain and hands to do. I am a product of Bogue Primary and Infant school.' This philosophy shapes confident, capable young citizens ready to make their mark on the world.
